Neath Port Talbot Council (the “Council”) invite tenders from quality domiciliary care providers for the recommissioning of our adult domiciliary care services under a new 'Open' Framework, the aim of which is to deliver care to adults living in their own homes, to support them to achieve improved outcomes. The Framework will establish a pool of suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care services to individuals in their own homes and is being procured as a ‘light touch’ framework and therefore not obliged to follow all the obligations contained within the Procurement Act 2023. The Tender will take the form of an open framework (a scheme of successive frameworks) up to eight years in duration, the first framework being a maximum of three years and the second a maximum of five years allowing periodic admission of new providers during the framework term. The scope of services will include the delivery of care and support in line with assessed needs and Care and Support Plans.
