Description Nuclear Restoration Services Ltd (NRS) is undertaking preliminary market engagement, in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, in relation to the potential future procurement of the design, manufacture and testing of plant and equipment for a waste Transfer Corridor, in support of the decommissioning of the legacy Shaft and Silo ILW storage facilities at the Dounreay Site, Caithness, Scotland. It does not commence a procurement procedure and does not represent any commitment by NRS to award a contract. Background and Site Context The Dounreay Site represents one of the most complex decommissioning environments in the UK nuclear estate, combining legacy experimental facilities, constrained site conditions, and long term high hazard activities within a live, regulated nuclear site.
