Asbestos Management Services Framework (AMS2) Framework Details 1.1.1. Cardiff City Council, Bridgend County Borough Council, Vale of Glamorgan Council, Monmouthshire County Council and Torfaen County Borough Council are looking to appoint suitably qualified and accredited Contractors who can deliver high quality Works and Services to meet the Council’s Asbestos Management requirements on the second iteration of the Framework. 1.1.2. Cardiff Council manages approximately 388 corporate domestic & non-domestic properties across the city. Bridgend County Borough Council manages approximately 276 properties across the city. To meet its obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012), the Council requires comprehensive asbestos management services. 1.1.3. The Framework will be awarded for a fixed term of 2 years with the option to extend by 2 x 12 months. 1.1.4.
