About this contract

West Lothian Council intends to undertake a future procurement for: - a comprehensive support, servicing, maintenance and calibration contract for two surface-mounted weighbridges, associated technology and software at Whitehill Transfer Station; - the provision of weighbridge software and associated technology to support Digital Waste Tracking requirements; and - the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of operator terminals, weighing indicators and any additional equipment required to support ongoing service delivery. The Council wishes to engage with the market to help inform the future specification, procurement strategy and tender documentation. It is anticipated that a mobilisation and implementation period will be required following contract award to facilitate the replacement and implementation of hardware and software solutions. The Council is currently considering a five-year support, servicing, maintenance and calibration term which would commence following completion of the mobilisation and implementation period.
