The total portion of the Contract Sum attributable to Planned Preventative Maintenance ("PPM") Services, including any optional extension periods, shall be £4,181,657.31 (excluding VAT). The portion of the Contract Sum attributable to Remedial Works to be undertaken during the Contract Term, including any optional extension periods, shall be £1,200,000.00 (excluding VAT). This amount is included solely for the purpose of establishing the maximum potential Contract Value and does not represent a minimum commitment of spend. Accordingly, the total potential maximum Contract Value shall be £5,381,657.31 (excluding VAT), the service provider will not be entitled to payment in excess of this amount without the prior written approval of the client and a formal variation to the Contract
