The procurement of a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) will enable a more integrated and automated approach to managing the Business Continuity Management program of the British Council, by supporting corporate services and countries with standardised templates of key documentation (Business Impact Assessment, Business Continuity Plans, Training, Exercising, Response Arrangements), and built-in guidance, as well as analysis of plans and dependencies. The overall goal of this project is to provide a single system in which all BC governance, framework, incident report, exercises etc... will be featured and to clarifies roles and responsibilities within the BC program as well as increase staff's overall engagement in organisational resilience.
