How to win: The Supply and Delivery of PPE and Workwear

About this contract

South Ribble Borough Council (SRBC) and Chorley Borough Council (CBC) are currently developing their Service Specification, contracting process and commercial model for The Supply and Delivery of PPE and workwear. This Market Engagement Questionnaire (MEQ) seeks the views and opinions of those organisations that may be interested in delivering the Service. Organisations should ensure that they have read the supporting information (Draft Service Specification and Product List) provided prior to responding. Please express your interest via the Chest procurement portal (Ref DN819840) and return the questionnaire document, fully completed.

How to win contracts like this

• ✓Answer against the marking scheme, not the question text — Chorley Council scores each response, so map your evidence to the published criteria and weightings.
• ✓At £120,000, expect quality and social value to carry a large share of the score — price alone rarely wins goods work.
• ✓Show recent, comparable delivery: name similar goods contracts you've delivered for public bodies, with measurable outcomes.
• ✓Start early: deadlines are tight and a strong bid takes iteration.

BidWriter drafts your responses from your company profile, scores them against the marking scheme, and tracks your whole pipeline. Free to start — no card needed.
