The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has agreed a modification to the Tackling Deadly Diseases in Africa Programme Phase II National and Community Technical Assistance Component contract with Palladium International Ltd. This notice is published in relation to additional antimicrobial resistance (AMR) transition services in Zambia, modified pursuant to Regulation 72(1)(b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The addition of delivery in Zambia has become necessary and was not included in the initial procurement. The wider Contract Amendment 003 package also includes changes implemented pursuant to Regulation 72(1)(a), including reductions in contract value, reprioritisation of delivery, revision of the Terms of Reference and a reduction in programme duration. The modification introduces targeted and time-limited AMR transition services in Zambia through to 31 March 2027. The wider amendment reduces the contract ceiling from £19,271, 765 to £14,145,592.57 inclusive of applicable taxes and shortens the contract end date from 31 March 2028 to 31 March 2027.
