Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) invites tenders for the provision of an independent evaluation of the DNA Museum (Derry-Londonderry on the North Atlantic). The DNA Museum is a significant heritage and cultural investment located at Ebrington in Derry ~ Londonderry. It involves the preservation, redevelopment, and adaptive reuse of historic buildings to establish a new museum and archive facility. The project is designed to enhance access to heritage assets, collections, archives, and genealogy services, while also supporting broader cultural, educational, and place-based initiatives. The museum will offer an engaging visitor experience, with projected attendance reaching 75,000 visitors annually by its third year. The project is supported by a range of public and charitable funders and is being delivered in accordance with an approved Full Business Case, Activity Plan and associated governance.
