Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) and NHS Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board (BLMK ICB) have awarded the mental health, suicide prevention & support training programme. This training programme will be for front line staff including professionals and volunteers who are delivering services or support to the residents within the geographical boundaries of Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Luton, and Milton Keynes. This is a joint procurement across the local authorities of Milton Keynes, Bedford, Central Bedfordshire and Luton, Milton Keynes City Council is the lead authority for this workstream. The training programme will consist of three elements: 1) Mental Health First Aid training 2) Suicide Prevention training 3) Bereavement by suicide training The Council has entered into a contract that will be for a term of 2 years with the successful tenderer (Service Provider) unless terminated in accordance with the Conditions of Contract. This procurement was undertaken via the Open procedure .
