The South West London Procurement Partnership on behalf of St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are looking to carry out a market engagement exercise in relation to Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) services.   <br/><br/>NIPT is a blood test taken from the mother in pregnancy that uses cutting edge DNA technology to evaluate whether a baby has a high chance of a certain chromosomal condition.  <br/><br/>The service host and deliver the externally provided NIPT solution which includes reagents, equipment and maintenance, associated software and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). NIPT services at STG facilitate approx. 5000 patients per year. <br/><br/>The contract start date is proposed for March/April 2027 with a service commencement date in November 2027. It is anticipated that the contract term will run for 2 years with an option to extend by an additional 2 years on a +1+1 basis.
