Sport England’s Active Lives Surveys (adults and children and young people) are Official Statistics and therefore results need to be produced and published in accordance with the Code of Practice. The accurate and timely production of results requires considerable quality assurance in advance of the publication of the survey results Sport England is seeking to appoint a supplier who can carry out statistical assurance on the analytical and published tables as part of the Active Lives Adult and Children and Young People publications. For each data release, the supplier would be required to carry the following checks:  Checking and confirming bases Checking and confirming rates / shares / means Checking and confirming unweighted counts Checking and confirming confidence intervals and significance tests Checking and confirming the accuracy of published tables (including bases, rates/shares/means, confidence intervals, and population estimates) The services required form an essential part of a wider, overall project plan for the assurance and publication of Active Lives survey results.
