To maintain continuity of the programme, delivering NHS England's responsibilities under the s7A agreement, it is necessary to re-procure immunisation programmes aimed at school aged children across the following geographical areas: • Sussex • Kent and Medway The aim of the procurement was to seek providers with the capability of delivering the highest possible coverage of the programmes to protect the health of young people and the wider community in which they live. Immunisation is one of the most successful and cost effective health protection interventions. High immunisation rates are key to preventing the spread of infectious disease, complications and possible early death among individuals, and to protecting the population's health. The services in scope are only those identified within SAI service specification, detailed in Appendix C. S
