Leicester City Council invites providers to attend our upcoming market engagement event for the High Dependency Intermediate Care (HD) service model. It is anticipated that tenders would be sought in mid-September for an anticipated contract start date of 1st April 2027, immediately after the end of our current contract providing Discharge to Assess High Dependency RRR Residential service to Leicester and Leicestershire. This market engagement event will give providers an opportunity to gain an early understanding of the proposed model, ask questions, and prepare for participation in the forthcoming tender process. What is High Dependency Intermediate Care (HD)? High Dependency Intermediate Care provides a short-term, intensive care and support bedded service in a non-clinical environment (i.e. nursing home) within the Leicester or Leicestershire area.
