About this contract

This service is required to monitor and report the performance of the National Highways Geotechnical Condition Performance Indicator (PI) using information held by the Client (National Highways). This PI measures the percentage by length of the geotechnical asset in good condition. It contributes to the Road Investment Strategy (RIS) Performance Specification outcome, a well maintained and resilience network. This service will inform how effectively National Highways is managing the geotechnical assets throughout the RIS 3 and offer transparency and assurance, to our stakeholders. The Client is looking for Consultancy service to produce, analyse, monitor, and report the performance of the Geotechnical Condition Performance Indicator (PI) across the SRN. The definition of the PI is contained within section S110. The service will carry out monthly and annual analysis, validation, assurance and reporting of the PI, using information held by National Highways. This will include technical advice to support corporate performance assurance and audit activities, typically twice per year.
