How to win: RFQ 2026/38 - NMANDD PEACEPLUS “Thriving Together” - Shared History & Culture Program - Hanna's Close

About this contract

Competent consultancy companies are hereby invited to tender to design, develop and deliver a shared history and culture programme that will increase participants’ knowledge and understanding of individual, family and collective history through the exploration of Hanna’s Close, a preserved Ulster-Scots clachan (settlement) in Aughnahoory, Kilkeel. The programme will place a particular emphasis on genealogy; tracing family connections linked to Hanna’s Close and examining patterns of emigration from the settlement. Participants will explore how generations of local families established new lives across the world and consider the social, economic and cultural impact these individuals and their descendants have had on communities both locally and internationally.

How to win contracts like this

• ✓Answer against the marking scheme, not the question text — Newry, Mourne and Down District Council (NMD) scores each response, so map your evidence to the published criteria and weightings.
• ✓At £8,099, expect quality and social value to carry a large share of the score — price alone rarely wins services work.
• ✓Show recent, comparable delivery: name similar services contracts you've delivered for public bodies, with measurable outcomes.
• ✓Start early: it closes 29 October 2026 and a strong bid takes iteration.

BidWriter drafts your responses from your company profile, scores them against the marking scheme, and tracks your whole pipeline. Free to start — no card needed.
