Torbay Council is embarking on an exciting programme to develop new children's residential homes within Torbay. We are seeking to work alongside experienced Ofsted-registered Children’s home providers to develop new local residential provision that enables children and young people to remain closer to their families, communities and support networks. We recognise the significant expertise, experience and innovation that residential care providers bring and we are keen to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with organisations that share our ambition to create high-quality homes where children feel safe, supported, valued and able to thrive. This Contract is being divided into the following Lots: Lot 1: Council-owned Children’s Homes Torbay Council will purchase two buildings to be used as Children’s Homes within the Torbay boundary. The two homes will provide for 2 placements each, contributing to a total of 4 beds. For this Lot, Torbay Council is seeking one provider to deliver both properties.
