NPL Engineering requires a manufacturing-focused MRP solution with selected ERP functionality to support its Engineering-to-Order (ETO) operating model, replacing the current JAVELIN system which has been in service for approximately ten years. The solution will provide end-to-end support for engineering activities including customer engagement, estimating, resource planning, work order management, material control, production planning, manufacturing execution, quality management, invoicing, reporting and performance monitoring. The solution must support both manufacturing and non-manufacturing engineering activities through a common work-order-based framework and provide appropriate integration with existing corporate and engineering systems. NPL is seeking a modern, scalable and supported platform which will improve operational visibility, workflow control, delivery performance, cost management and customer engagement whilst supporting future engineering business requirements Estimated budget for implementation costs: suppliers to provide costs based on above requirements. • excluding VAT: 83,333 • including VAT: £100,000
