This will make information more transparent, and enable new customer focused products and services to greatly enhance passenger experience and door to door travel, as well as more effective movement of goods and reduced costs. The RDM is comprised of licencing, development work, and support and maintenance of this service through the provision of software and services which allow the publication and consumption of data assets (predominantly in the form of APIs) and supporting artefacts, along with the ability to license and monetise those assets and create a vibrant community of users.
