Who won: Provision of an emergency transportation and housing service for animals

About this contract

This relates to the provision for an emergency service at short notice, for the transportation and housing for animals that are subject to intervention by Staffordshire County Council because of compromised statutory animal health and welfare controls. As the welfare of the animals will have been compromised the contractor will need to be local to Staffordshire to minimise the distance travelled to prevent any unnecessary suffering during transportation. The contractor needs to be within a 100 mile radius from the location of the incident to where the animals will be temporarily housed.
