The Contractor will be responsible for the provision of a prosthetic and orthotic rehabilitation service at Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC). DMRC uses an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) approach to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation to the most severely injured SP within defence. One element of this IDT working is the provision of a prosthetic and orthotics service delivered on site. The unit has a purpose built prosthetics and orthotics department with clinical, administrative, manufacturing and workshop capabilities to facilitate the timely delivery of quality care in support of the rehabilitation pathways. This specialist capability shall be provided by an external contractor. The authority is seeking to tender for a 4 -year contract to start on 01 Apr 2027, with the option to extend up to 24 months. Service Requirement The service shall include: • Prosthetic provision post primary amputation, upper and lower limb, often with additional complex needs, • Management of established prosthetic users with complex needs and/or high level demands, • Care of patients with a range of complex orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions requiring orthotic devi
