Overview The Contracting Authority requires the design, supply and installation of tank cover systems for wastewater and water treatment assets. As part of its AMP8 Net Zero Investment Programme, the Contracting Authority intends to deliver Cover and Treat solutions across approximately 23 sites (subject to change) to reduce process emissions by approximately 19,618 tCO₂e. Hafren Dyfrdwy also has an AMP8 regulatory commitment to deliver a Cover and Treat solution at one site, contributing a further reduction of approximately 411 tCO₂e. The scope includes Activated Sludge Plant (ASP) lanes and Liquor Treatment Plant (LTP) tanks associated with wastewater and sludge treatment processes. These assets operate continuously and contain biologically active, aerated liquors that generate off-gases during normal operation. Any proposed tank cover solution must be suitable for installation over live operational treatment assets and must not adversely affect process performance, operation, maintenance activities or access requirements.
