This is a Preliminary Market Engagment notice that the Home Office will be seeking to at an as yet undetermined date a vessel arrest system. This notice is for interested parties to express interest in providing this work. Border Security Command Maritime is seeking information from suppliers capable of providing a portable vessel arrest capability to support maritime law enforcement and border security operations. The capability is intended to enable trained maritime enforcement personnel to safely intercept and stop non-compliant vessels during active pursuit operations, reducing risks to enforcement crews, members of the public, and occupants of target vessels. The Authority is particularly interested in solutions that are portable, self-contained and manually operated, enabling deployment across multiple maritime assets without the need for permanent vessel integration. The Authority seeks a vessel arrest solution capable of disabling, arresting, or otherwise preventing the effective propulsion of a target vessel, resulting in a controlled reduction in manoeuvrability and speed, facilitating safe interdiction and boarding operations. The solution must be suitable for deployment
