The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire (OPCC) on behalf of Warwickshire Police is considering future options for the provision of its Vehicle Recovery Service. We would therefore like to invite suppliers to participate in the preliminary market engagement process. This exercise is purely for the purpose of information gathering in order to inform the procurement strategy going forward. It should be noted that any future purchase will be subject to a full competitive tendering procedure in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. A full specification of technical, functional and non-functional requirements would be provided within the tender documentation. Warwickshire Police requires a vehicle recovery service to support operational policing activities across the county. The service is required to ensure that vehicles which are illegally, dangerously or obstructively parked, have broken down, are collision damaged, abandoned, or stolen, can be removed, recovered, stored and processed safely and efficiently.
