The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking to engage with potential providers, partners and stakeholders ahead of a future procurement opportunity for the delivery of a Community Infant Feeding Service focused on the promotion, protection and support of breastfeeding across Bradford District. The purpose of the Preliminary Market Engagement Notice is to: - Inform the market of the Council's commissioning intentions - Engage with potential providers and delivery partners -Understand the market capacity and capability. The Council intends to commission a dedicated Community Infant Feeding Service to provide a coordinated, evidence-based approach to promoting, protecting and supporting breastfeeding from pregnancy through to six months postnatally. The service will support families to achieve their infant feeding goals, strengthen community capacity, improve breastfeeding outcomes and contribute to reducing health inequalities across Bradford District.
