Support young people who are post 16yrs (in academic years 12 or 13) and who are not in education, employment or training, who have been identified by The Council's Virtual School. Interventions are aimed at engaging young people in education, employment or training, by identifying and addressing barriers with targeted support. Young people will be supported by the supplier to gain qualifications where this is appropriate in Functional Skills Maths and English and on occasions GCSE Maths and English delivered in a way that reflects their learning style. Supplier will also be expected to offer bespoke mentoring support for Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) outcomes as described in the initial referral and offer work placement opportunities.
