The provision will include a range of vehicles – cars, multi-purpose vehicles, and minibuses – with wheelchair accessibility where specified by the Council. Passenger assistants will form a part of the requirements. The current bought-in provision has the following passenger and route summary: * There are approximately 150 passengers, across approximately 50 routes, across a variety of vehicle configurations. * Approximately 45% of routes are single passenger. * The majority of routes carry three or fewer passengers. * A smaller proportion of routes accommodate higher passenger numbers of up to nine.
