This notice relates to the intention to award a contract for the commissioning of Othopeadic procedures by Cardiff University Health Board (CAVUHB), Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) and Swansea Bay University Health Board )SBUHB) following a mini-competition under the Outsourcing of Clinical, Surgical & Diagnostics Services Framework Agreement (PRO-OJEULT-50776). The Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulation 2025 competitive process was followed to call off services under the framework agreement as per the below lotting structure: Lot 1: CAVUHB & CTMUHB: Orthopaedic treatment packages for predominantly Hip and Knee Primary Arthroplasty, Spines and Soft Tissue Operations. May include some Hand, Shoulder, Foot and Ankle surgery. Lot 2: SBUHB: Orthopaedic treatment packages for predominantly Shoulder surgery, however, may include some Hip and Knee Primary Arthroplasty, Spines, Soft Tissue Operations, Hand, Foot and Ankle surgery.
