About this contract

Provision of Fleet Related Plant Equipment Repairs & Maintenance Services across the Northumbria Police estate. The requirement includes the inspection, servicing, maintenance, calibration, repair and statutory compliance of Fleet workshop equipment, lifting equipment, calibration equipment and cleaning equipment located across multiple operational and support locations. The scope is expected to include: Planned preventative maintenance. Reactive repairs and breakdown support. LOLER inspections. PUWER inspections. Calibration services. Asset management and compliance reporting. Supply and installation of replacement parts. Supply and installation of replacement equipment where required. Asset lifecycle management and repair-versus-replacement recommendations. The current asset portfolio comprises more than 250 Fleet, Workshop, Compliance, Lifting and Cleaning Equipment assets distributed across approximately 64 locations throughout the Authority's estate. The proposed contract term is 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12-month periods.
