The procurement was divided into four lots covering Surrey localities and a county-wide sedation service. The contracts are intended to run until 31 March 2031, with the option to extend for up to two additional years. At point of advertisement, the Contracting Authority was NHS Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board (ICB). In April this year (2026) NHS Surrey Heartlands ICB and NHS Sussex ICB merged to form NHS Surrey and Sussex ICB. The awarding Contracting Authority is Surrey and Sussex and ICB and therefore, for ease of reference will be used throughout this notice. This process is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
