NHS England (NHSE) are commencing a tender process to identify a supplier who has the capability, capacity and the expert knowledge to design and deliver a high quality postgraduate education programme for a new Engineering and Estates management specialism, commencing from academic year 2027/28. This opportunity forms a core academic component of a nationally coordinated graduate training pathway and will support cohorts of NHS employed graduates undertaking structured rotational placements across healthcare systems in England. The education provision is expected to align with a Level 7 postgraduate qualification (PGDip or Master’s) in Building Services Engineering, directly applicable to NHS operational and safety critical environments. The Supplier will be responsible for delivering an accredited Level 7 Building Services Engineering or equivalent programme that supports the wider GMTS pathway and shall provide the academic education provision required to support GMTS EEM trainees through a Level 7 programme.
