About this contract

The scope of the MetroGo Technical Services Contract is to assist Nexus with the development of the specification for the new Digital Command and Control system, Control Room and all associated peripheral systems; providing Safety Governance in line with CSM, ensuring its integration into the existing system, process and procedures. The aim of this element of MetroGo is for NEXUS to successfully procure and deliver a digital replacement for the existing system, including its installation, commissioning, and optimisation. The scope will be instructed through a series of Task Orders, there will be two Task Orders awarded with the contract. The Scope of the Technical Services Contract will include: • Correlation and Condition Survey of the existing system • Production of the Concept of Operations • Production of a Functional Specification and Technical Tender Documentation for a new Digital Command and Control System • Verifying and Validating the existing Nexus Signalling system, • Identify all interfacing systems • Creating of a digital twin for the existing system • Guidance, Navigation and Process development of organisational change • The design of a new Integrated Transport
