The successful Supplier will be required to provide Catering services for Lyndon Green Junior School and Lyndon Green Infant School. The two Schools share the same kitchen, which currently has an in-house catering provision, this being the first time that the contract has been put to competitive tender. The kitchen is large and whilst it currently only services the onsite Schools, in previous years it has been the hub kitchen for a delivered meal service for up to three other local Schools. The governing body would, in principle, consider the re-establishment of the kitchen as a hub for a delivered meal service to other Schools, subject to an appropriate business case being made.
