The Contract also includes the design and delivery of a new Active Wellbeing Service comprising both facility-based and neighbourhood-based programmes aimed at increasing participation in physical activity, improving health and wellbeing outcomes and supporting the Council's wider strategic priorities. Pavilions in the Park is the Council's flagship leisure facility and is located within Horsham Town. Built in 2002, the facility comprises a wide range of wet and dry-side leisure facilities. Dry-side facilities include a 70-station fitness gym, activity hall, multipurpose studio, spin studio, gymnastics hall, soft play area and café. Wet-side facilities include an 8-lane 25m competition pool with movable floor and spectator seating, a leisure pool with flume and play features, an outdoor lido, a teaching pool and a health suite including sauna and steam room.
