How to win: KMCAS-231 Kirklees Dementia Information & Advice Service

About this contract

Kirklees Council is looking into a potential procurement option to put in place future contractual arrangements for suitably qualified and experienced organisations to deliver a Kirklees Dementia Information and Advice Service. To support this, we would like to gain information from the market regarding a number of areas related to the potential procurement exercise. Suppliers are therefore invited to consider the programme requirements detailed in this document and complete the attached questionnaire to give us feedback on the proposed approach. This Market Sounding Exercise (MSE) is not an invitation to tender or a request for formal expressions of interest. The Council, as contracting authority, is issuing this request for information only, in order to assess the reaction of the market and thus make any potential procurement process more focused and efficient.

How to win contracts like this

• ✓Answer against the marking scheme, not the question text — The Council of the Borough of Kirklees scores each response, so map your evidence to the published criteria and weightings.
• ✓At £982,065, expect quality and social value to carry a large share of the score — price alone rarely wins services work.
• ✓Show recent, comparable delivery: name similar services contracts you've delivered for public bodies, with measurable outcomes.
• ✓Start early: it closes 10 July 2026 and a strong bid takes iteration.

BidWriter drafts your responses from your company profile, scores them against the marking scheme, and tracks your whole pipeline. Free to start — no card needed.
