How to win: INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT) for the provision of Letter Drop Services

About this contract

As part of its duties, Herefordshire Council oversees and manages various highways, maintenance and public realm related projects. As part of our statutory and community engagement responsibilities, affected residents and businesses of any closures or road works must be informed of these works in advance through timely, accurate, and geographically targeted communication. Herefordshire Council are seeking a supplier to provide a comprehensive print and mail distribution service to support these communications.

How to win contracts like this

• ✓Answer against the marking scheme, not the question text — Herefordshire Council scores each response, so map your evidence to the published criteria and weightings.
• ✓At £300,000, expect quality and social value to carry a large share of the score — price alone rarely wins services work.
• ✓Show recent, comparable delivery: name similar services contracts you've delivered for public bodies, with measurable outcomes.
• ✓Start early: it closes 3 August 2026 and a strong bid takes iteration.

BidWriter drafts your responses from your company profile, scores them against the marking scheme, and tracks your whole pipeline. Free to start — no card needed.
