YMCA London City and North (YLCAN) is seeking to appoint an Interior Design practice to develop coordinated interior design proposals to RIBA Stage 3+ for the redevelopment of its supported accommodation scheme at Crouch End, London. The development will deliver approximately 174 bedspaces within a co-living model, including shared kitchens and lounges, communal areas, staff facilities, and support spaces. Scope of services will include (but not be limited to): • Development of interior design to RIBA Stage 3+ level • Coordination with architect and multidisciplinary design team • Preparation of room data sheets, finishes schedules and FF&E specifications • Joinery design and technical detailing • Wayfinding and signage strategy • Contribution to tender documentation for a Design & Build procurement route • Integration of inclusive, sustainable and psychologically-informed design principles suitable for supported housing The design must support the creation of safe, inclusive, aspirational and durable environments for young people experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
