About this contract

The estimated framework start date is 18th December 2026 and will run until 17th December 2028, with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months. The framework is for the supply and delivery of various highways materials and tools, which are required for the delivery of Highway Services in-house operations. Highway Services operations range from routine highway maintenance works to high profile highway improvement schemes within our town centres. The framework will comprise of 3 different Lots, these are; Lot 1 - Miscellaneous Civil Engineering Materials, including Cements, Drainage Materials, Manhole Covers and Gully Grates, Road Marking Materials and Timber Products Lot 2 - Site Safety Materials, including Cone Signs, Cones and Barriers, Danger Lamps, Footway Boards, Lot 3 - Tools and consumables, including hand tools, wheelbarrows, buckets, replacement blades and sandbags. Materials included on the framework price list are specified based on their performance properties, supported by adherence to British Standards where applicable. Tools and consumables are specified based on their quality and where applicable compatibility with other equipment already used by the service.
