About this contract

The current Hampshire Disabilities Day Opportunities Model (HDDOM) was developed by Hampshire County Council to address growing and evolving needs in adult social care, particularly for people with disabilities and adults who required structured daytime support. It was also developed to better safeguard, contract manage and review finances. The service has entered its final extension period and is required to be retendered to ensure Hampshire may meet the needs of its eligible residents. The new framework will be an evolution from HDDOM and will be named Hampshire Day Opportunities Framework (HDOF) and will be aligned with the Care Act 2014, aiming to meet eligible care needs by offering meaningful daytime activities that promote wellbeing, independence, and social inclusion. HDOF will be designed to provide daytime activities and support for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, older adults and people with mental health needs.
