About this contract

Severn Trent intends to go out to tender for its Groundworks, Trenchless Installation and Ancillary Civil Engineering Services requirements for Mains Renewal, with the aim of establishing an in-house framework as a long-term solution for the remainder of AMP8. It is anticipated that Severn Trent will act as both Principal Designer and Principal Contractor under this arrangement. Works will be planned, scheduled, and instructed by Severn Trent, with excavation pits prepared on site by Severn Trent teams. Contractors will work collaboratively alongside Severn Trent personnel. The majority of works will involve the installation of pipes ranging from 63mm to 250mm in diameter.
