GMCA are inviting feedback from potential suppliers in relation to the delivery of a stock condition model for Greater Manchester. It is expected that the model/survey would be a desktop survey which would provide modelled outputs. The survey outputs would allow the GMCA and the 10 Greater Manchester local authorities to compare the data produced with historic stock condition data, based on type and level of hazards within the Housing Health and Safety Rating system. It would support Housing Strategies, Climate Action Plans, and Fuel Poverty actions, as well as assist the local authorities to comply with their duties under the Regulatory Reform Order 2002 and the integration of Public Health responsibilities into the Local Authority. The objectives of the potential model/survey are to understand the following: A. The overall stock condition of homes across Greater Manchester by house type, age and tenure of the home. B. Levels of minimum acceptable conditions as set out in the Housing Health and Safety Rating System. C.
