How to win: Further Premarket Engagement excerise

About this contract

London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council (the “Council”) are intending to undertake a procurement exercise for several contracts, to succeed those currently in place with numerous Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge Point Operators (CPOs). This Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise will help the Council understand the current Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (EVI) market and landscape, as there has been significant evolution since several of the Council’s established contracts commenced. This PME exercise covers a range of areas and is intended to inform the Council’s procurement strategy and design of its procurement activity.

How to win contracts like this

• ✓Answer against the marking scheme, not the question text — London Borough of Hammersmith and Fuham scores each response, so map your evidence to the published criteria and weightings.
• ✓At £60,000,000, expect quality and social value to carry a large share of the score — price alone rarely wins services work.
• ✓Show recent, comparable delivery: name similar services contracts you've delivered for public bodies, with measurable outcomes.
• ✓Start early: deadlines are tight and a strong bid takes iteration.
