How to win: Fair Park Regeneration

About this contract

This project will deliver the refurbishment of the existing play park, to create a modern, safe, and inclusive play space that meets the needs of local children and families. The current equipment has reached the end of its useful life and no longer reflects best practice in play design, accessibility, or safety standards. The refurbishment will involve the removal of outdated equipment and the installation of new, high‑quality play features designed to encourage active play, creativity, and social interaction. The improved layout will provide opportunities for children of different ages and abilities, supporting physical development, confidence, and wellbeing.

How to win contracts like this

• ✓Answer against the marking scheme, not the question text — Bodmin Town Council scores each response, so map your evidence to the published criteria and weightings.
• ✓At £250,000, expect quality and social value to carry a large share of the score — price alone rarely wins works work.
• ✓Show recent, comparable delivery: name similar works contracts you've delivered for public bodies, with measurable outcomes.
• ✓Start early: deadlines are tight and a strong bid takes iteration.

BidWriter drafts your responses from your company profile, scores them against the marking scheme, and tracks your whole pipeline. Free to start — no card needed.
