The EGAP will be delivered in six key work packages, which are outlined below: Work Packages WP1: Energy Landscape - Utilising regional level data to identify suitable and viable sites for renewable energy generation within the region, across urban and rural areas, varying technologies, and delivery arrangements. The work package aims to identify at least 20 opportunity sites to take through to feasibility and business case development. WP2: Community Engagement - Aims to understand how and where to engage communities in renewable energy projects to accelerate community benefit and support for projects in Y&NY. WP3: Planning - Identify and develop a strategy for planning barriers, including challenges in protected landscapes and heritage areas.
