The Home Improvement Service in Adult Services currently uses a framework arrangement for the design supply and installation of level access showers and wash/dry showers. There have been ongoing discussions between procurement and the DFG team since 09/07/2025, however a realignment of procurement arrangements led to a review of the proposals to proceed with the procurement of a framework solely for design, supply and installation of level access showers and wash dry toilets and the need to consider a category management approach. This appointment is to use the 6 named suppliers contracted whilst the merits of category management are explored, a cabinet report is written, and the resulting procurement exercise is conducted.
