How to win: COSHH Assessment

About this contract

COSHH is a legal requirement designed to ensure that organisations systematically identify, assess, and control risks from hazardous substances to protect the health and safety of workers and others who may be exposed. In this context, we are seeking to engage with companies that provide robust, scalable COSHH management systems capable of supporting large and complex organisations. Systems that support digital workflows, audit readiness, and integration with wider health and safety management arrangements would be of particular interest.

How to win contracts like this

• ✓Answer against the marking scheme, not the question text — Cardiff and Vale University Health Board scores each response, so map your evidence to the published criteria and weightings.
• ✓At £37,000, expect quality and social value to carry a large share of the score — price alone rarely wins services work.
• ✓Show recent, comparable delivery: name similar services contracts you've delivered for public bodies, with measurable outcomes.
• ✓Start early: deadlines are tight and a strong bid takes iteration.

BidWriter drafts your responses from your company profile, scores them against the marking scheme, and tracks your whole pipeline. Free to start — no card needed.
