Given Colombia's characteristics, there are real opportunities to support ports to be greener and reduce emissions while articulating with the rail sector, diversifying the exports, progressively substituting the fossil fuel demand and accelerating the transition to the use of clean energy in port operations. This project will contribute to accelerate emissions reductions by enhancing the capabilities and knowledge of decision makers at the public sector to implement the national port policy (CONPES 4118 of 2023) that provides guidelines on the modernisation and sustainability of port activities and their Integration with the territory.
