Clwyd Pension Fund (the “Fund”) is seeking to appoint an Independent Person to provide scrutiny, constructive challenge to advice given, and to support the Pension Fund Committee and Head of Fund (LGPS Senior Officer). The role forms part of the strengthened governance framework for LGPS administering authorities as a result of MHCLG's implementation of the LGPS Good Governance reforms. Flintshire County Council, as Administering Authority for the Clwyd Pension Fund, provides pension benefits on behalf of over 50 participating employers and over 50 thousand scheme members.
