The contract would be for a single supplier to deliver three services; 1. Training for professionals to raise awareness Increase awareness amongst professionals working with children (e.g. schools, family help, family hubs and social care) about CAPO through training and networking events and serving as a point of contact for professionals seeking support or resources for families they are supporting. 2. Direct support to children and families Direct support for children and young people affected by parental offending which takes a whole family approach, supporting the wider family and remaining parent, as required. This will be tailored one-to-one support for children and peer support groups and activities for children, as well as for the non-offending parent. 3. Parenting courses for parents in prison Provide parents with the necessary skills to maintain strong relationships with their children despite being separated.
