The Local Government Association (LGA) is the national membership body for local authorities. It works on behalf of member councils to support, promote, and improve local government. The LGA delivers a programme of children’s services leadership support to councils and corporate and political leaders. To support delivery of this programme up to 2 x Chief Executive Children’s Improvement Advisers will be contracted to provide associate support to council Chief Executives, corporate leadership teams, and political leaders to support effective leadership of children’s services. Contracts will start as soon as possible and end on 31 March 2027, with up to 60 days allocated to the end of the contract With a daily rate of £700. his represents a maximum contract value of £42,000 (exclusive of VAT). Bidders must have had recent experience as a Chief Executive of a council with statutory responsibility for delivering children’s services.
